One down - one to go!

Little Miss Rylee is up & walking!!!
I also think that by the grin on her face, she is rather proud of herself.

Cuteness!

I swear....I can't leave these girls for a second! This is Taylor's new FAVORITE place to climb. She is always so proud of herself! Her & Rylee LOVE to 'help' me unload the dishwasher & fold clothes.

Look at that grin!
We had a box of oranges & once they were gone the box that they came in was the best toy ever. I wish it would have lasted more than 2 weeks! It was a hiding place, a train, a car, a tent....it was awesome.
My mom should love this picture - Rylee has a thing for these mini M&M containers. Once she finds one - it's HERS for the whole day. I dare you to take it.

Rylee is the next Green Lantern! (with her M&M container of course)

Enjoying some cheerios one afternoon.

Taylor & Rylee are now 14 months old. They WILL NOT walk! They stand alone just fine but you can see the panic & fear in their faces as soon as they realize they aren't holding onto something. They then immediately sit down.

Easter - Part 3 - The final chapter

Easter morning Caleb & I went to church. Caleb is still having a hard time going to primary - but his teacher Sister Nelson is so patient & kind. I'm happy that she understands him & his needs & that she is giving it her all to get him to like coming to church.

While we were gone - the Easter bunny left some baskets for the kids! Caleb LOVED his peeps. He doesn't savor the flavor (like true mallow lovers) he sticks the whole thing in his mouth! Rylee was excited to see some new sippy cups. She grabbed hers & Taylor's as well & started sipping away. Taylor was enjoying the Easter grass. Caleb is showing off a couple of his Easter projects that we whipped up.
Each of the kids had a new beach towel, a book, peeps, pajamas & plenty of candy. Caleb got a SWEET Buzz Light Year laser & Taylor & Rylee got adorable swimming suits.
Something about Caleb right now is his sunglasses. He won't go outside without them! Simba's cat food dish is right outside the door - you don't even have to leave the house to reach it - & Caleb HAS to have his glasses to feed the cat. I say "Go get Simba's dish" Caleb replies "WAIT! I meed my glasses" I should probably have some extra glasses in stock just in case the ones that he wears now ever get lost or broken!

Easter - Part 2 - Promontory

Thank goodness! Saturday's weather was so much better than Friday's! It was probably 15-20 degrees warmer! I could have done with a smidge less wind, but it made for some GREAT kite flying! There is something I really love about the simplicity of a kite soaring. I love the noise it makes & the motion of it in flight. Reeling it in sucks...but other than that I really enjoy it. When we got out to Promontory Caleb had a mini meltdown because we didn't bring him any mittens & he couldn't find his pocket on the left side of his denim jacket. We got out his camp chair & my childhood Care Bear sleeping bag & once he got warm, he did much better the rest of the day.
Derrick had little Eva wrapped up in his jacket & she must have been doing something freaking adorable because my mom & Grandma were grinning from ear to ear. My Grandma & Rylee bonded at the picnic over a fabulous cupcake. Rylee also LOVED my Grandma's huge, fancy watch band. (Who doesn't wear fancy jewelry to Promontory?!?) Rylee ended up with some of the bracelet in her mouth & my Grandma's face & comment was priceless "She shouldn't eat that! It probably came from Taiwan!" Bwah ha ha ha! You've just gotta love the lady. Taylor bonded with my Aunt Julia & cousin Bridgette....I didn't get a picture though :(

I'm pretty sure my Grandpa was wearing Jessica Simpson brand sunglasses. But he still managed to make them look super studly. I hope that I always remember my Grandpa's laugh. It is deep, hearty & completely sincere every time. I love it. Lil' rodeo Rylee on Ruger was a fun moment of the day. Thanks uncle Jordon!

Easter - Part 1 - Dove Creek

Ahhhh - Easter weekend. It's the beginning of camping, picnics, cookouts, fireworks, mosquitoes, mallow roasting, & so much more. Alas - we woke up to a pretty nice snow storm the Friday before Easter. Casey & Caleb packed up a lunch & headed out to Dove Creek to spend the day with some of his family. The girls & I stayed home. 1 year old twins in the dirt is one thing....but twin 1 year olds in the mud, wind & rain is another! I can handle some dirt.....mud though...no thanks! I hope that we can all make it out next Easter!

Brad & Mona have been working their butts of on a cute one room 'guest house' made out of pallets. It has turned out really nice! They have 3 cedar walls & they finished the wall with the stove over Easter weekend. I am excited to see the finished product the next time I make it out there. It looks very nice!

I made Casey take the camera out with him to document Easter weekend. I was pleasantly surprised that he took so many pictures!
