130 pictures. I took 130 pictures. I deleted a couple. Like seriously, maybe 7. I think Ashley took about 40 pictures. I hope that we documented the day ok. There is just so much going on! I don't want to miss a moment let alone ever forget that the moment happened.
These little ladies were ready to find their eggs!
Oh Luke. He took about an hour to relax. He was right at my heels for the first while that we were there. I just think he is super scared that I might be going somewhere without him. He is such a sweet little boy - but I want to share the sweetness! Everybody kind of just leaves him be because he freaks out if they talk to him. I will just try to enjoy the clinginess because before I know it, it will end. He ate SO MUCH CANDY!!
Caleb! He has graduated to the "Easter Bunny ends up putting an egg in cow dung stage". Ew. That rabbit is disgusting. He had a blast climbing around finding his eggs and then taking a breather to see what was inside. He got to shoot his BB gun too! I think that he really enjoyed himself this year!!
These ladies were everywhere. Visiting everybody. Taking 4-wheeler rides from their man crushes. (Jordon, Dylan, Griffy-Poo & Blakie). Impressing everyone with their rhyming skills. They had a blast. On Taylor's wheeler ride with Dylan they happened to see a male horse going pee....I guess she had several questions!
Lexi LOVES Uncle Derrick. It's adorable. She'll just chat with him or sit on his lap. She even got to snuggle up with Jordon! Jordon went through a stage where not one single little person wanted anything to do with him - well, the tables have TURNED! He was pretty dang popular this year.
The egg hunt. I vividly remember that at about Blake's age - it isn't as fun anymore. It's like the Easter Bunny wants you to be annoyed at him. Taylor found one of Griffen's eggs and trekked her little body all the way across the hill to hand him to hand it to him. It was darling!!
Ride on!
The weather wasn't terrible. Definitely jacket weather, but at least it wasn't windy or freezing!! My dad had the best job of all. He kept little Jackson snuggled up for the majority of the day.
This year some shooting was added to the fun. All of the boys are grown up! It's sad and not sad at the same time. So, a man element was added to the picnic. It was my idea. I guess I called my dad to see what he thought about it & he said sure. I guess I didn't run it by my mom. I thought I did. I was in trouble. 35 and still in trouble. Sorry mommy.
The day ended with some mouse stomping. As it should, right? Testosterone. I just don't get it.
Grateful for these two wonderful people. I heart them.
