August

Workin' at the car wash....keeping kids entertained in the summer time is easy with a hose, a car and a bottle of dish soap.
We went to the Cache rodeo with just the big kids.  Taylor & Rylee sure love their daddy.
My hair has a major issue in the summer time.  It is so dang greasy!!  But we sure a are a cute bunch!
Taylor had been begging all summer to make cookies.  She put on her apron that she made with Grandma Mona and cookies were made!
Caleb got the opportunity to mow the lawn.  I think that he loved it and hated it.  He is starting to learn how good it feels to accomplish something.
Casey is determined to find some gold.  He bought a gold cube in order to assist him in his efforts.
Grammy hosted a water day at her house.  The hula hooping was the best thing about the day....but it was really windy!
These two love helping in the kitchen.  I assisted them in making french toast casserole one day.
Another gold trip!  Casey went with Shelby, Uncle Darren and cousin Byron to Crescent Creek.
Pool Day!  We even took 3 of the day care kids, Laynee, Addyson and RJ.  I had a coupon that was going to expire.  It was a very fun day!  Lazy rivers are so much fun.
The girls found a giant snail in the neighbors yard and had to come show me.  I took a picture and told her to put that giant back where she found it.
We rocked out one night with Angela and the boys at a Shinedown/Godsmack concert.  I really enjoyed it.  I really wanted Godsmack to play a certain song and Griffen wanted a different one.  We both freaked out when our songs were played.  It's like they read our minds.
In typical end of summer fashion - we went to the Box Elder County fair.  Had a burger.  Rode a few rides.  And people watched. I shouldn't have put Caleb in that spot on the scrambler.....he ended up with a major bruise on his hip!  That picture of Taylor & Rylee in the center melts me.  I love when their little hands lock together.

Dinosaur Park

One summer day we headed to the dinosaur park with my mom.  I remember the last time I went I had the double stroller and it didn't fit in doorways.....needless to say it wasn't the best trip.

This time was great.  Everyone had a dinosaur shirt except for Alexa , but she didn't seem to mind.  They had an attraction that I hadn't seen before and I told the kids not to touch the electric fence.  Rylee thinks she's a comedian.  Glad I'm taken seriously.
There was fun indoor paleontologist digging sight that the kids liked.  I liked that it was little pebbles instead of sand!  My identical twins are sure turning into photo opportunity weirdos.  Rylee getting electrocuted above and Taylor shocked at her findings below.  And Caleb was right in his element!
We had fun walking around outside, eating a picnic lunch and doing some coloring in the arts & crafts building.  The 2nd best part of the day was Luke.  He told me he had to pee....so I was handing my lunchbox to grammy and turned around to take him and he was aready going.  Weenie out...pants & underwear around his ankles...and a steady arched stream just flowing away.  At least it was into the shrubs.
What was the best part of the day?  My mom.  We decided to take a selfie with the T Rex behind us and she kept real screaming for the picture.  Just a tiny, dainty scream.  It was cracking me up.  Why was she screaming when the camera can't hear it?  She said, "It makes the scream look more realistic!"  It was hilarious.

Bear Lake

Of course we couldn't let the summer go by without a trip to Bear Lake.  It wasn't a very sunny day, but fun was still had!  Here are the cute group of kids that we had. Our 5 plus Shayden & McKayla.
 Diva status - level expert!
 Cuteness status - level expert.
Eating is always one of the highlights for the kids when at the beach.  But not for me!  Sand is gross.  This picture is funny to me.  Out of our 5 littles, these 3 won't turn down food EVER!
 Feeding the birds some popcorn!
We stopped at Pugstones to rent a kayak and a paddle board.  Shayden & Caleb rarely left them!  I'm glad that they had each other to hang with.
Then, in typical Bear Lake fashion, the winds picked up.  They boys were both on the paddle board at this time and they kept floating farther & farther away from us.  Shelby was already out on the water and headed to help them out, and Casey got nervous and dove in to go help too.  Who needs a Superman when Shelby & Casey are around?
It was a great day!  It's now tradition to snap a few pictures before we head back home.
I've had this tie-dye cover up for years....think I can keep it forever?
The kids at the end of the day.
These cute kids just keep growing up!! I'm going to hold Lexi in pictures until she's at least 10 though.  :)

July

Look a my babies eye lashes!  SWOON!
We went to the splash-pad in Wellsville one afternoon.  It was a good one!  Letting them each pick a soda out of the soda machine was quite intense!
My mom needed a last minute date the the rodeo in Ogden.  I'm glad that I was able to go.  I love rodeoes....when the riders are doing well.  And the rodeo clown was hilarious!  He caught me taking his picture and was trying to hide behind the pole.
Summer of 2018 was all abou the PERLER beads!  All of my kids and the girls I babysit, Laynee & Addy, LOVED them.  I may or may not have participated in the fun as well.
For a family outing one day we drove to pineview reservoir and then flipped around and played in the Ogden River for a bit.  I'm so glad we had Caleb packin.  we were in Ogden and you just never know if you're going to need a weapon or not.  Oh....no gold here.  Luke loved helping his dad though!
My Grandma had a birthday!  The kids love to visit and try to catch Tippy.  They also love that Grandma keeps trying to shove as much sugar into them as possible.
Ashley had her gorgeous baby boy!!  Easton Gray Bodine.
This picture of Griffen & Easton may go down in history as the cutest picture EVER.  A man child and a baby child.  The oldest and the youngest of the Anderson grand-babies.  Was Griffen ever that tiny??!!  I love babies so much!
Rylee had a month of cuteness.  We (Taylor, Rylee & I) went to sushi on evening with Angela, Griffen and Blake after seeing baby Easton.  She was a pro with the chopsticks!!  A twangy Taylor swift song came on one day and she said, "Oh no!  Not this pioneer music!"  Then one evening after visiting our families in Tremonton she wanted to try a little bit of driving.  She loved it.  Taylor said from the back, "Wow.  She's pretty good!"
My daisies were in full bloom so we tried a little science experiment.  I forgot to take an after picture...but the darker colors worked much better than the lighter ones.
There was a lifetime movie being filmed in Brigham city.  Taylor & I were driving by and decided to take a quick picture.  It is a 100% coincidence that she happened to be wearing a scarf that day.
My babies in a box.  Not the best picture.  Not a clean house.  But it sums up my life in one picture.  Adorable and a disaster.
My bug.  Snug in a rug.
I took this crew to the pool one day.  It was a free day.  Silly Addyson got sent away from the free stuff booth (Intermountain Health Care)  She kept going back for my band-aids and chap-stick.  RJ & Caleb had fun together and I got my tan on!
Trying to teach these kids how to play checkers while we got the oil changed one day.  Lexi was bored, Caleb cried, & Luke was just happy to be there.
Lexi wanted to make her own lunch one afternoon.  It was pretty adorable.
Angela & I spotted a ROUS one day.  We flipped around to get a picture.
Summer calls for sisters & snails!
Mona had Taylor, Rylee & McKenna for a sleepover one night.  Earlier in the month she took them shoopping for material so that they could make aprons.  The are so cute!  And so are the aprons.  Mona must have a whole lot of patience!
My bug loves bugs.  New critters sure captivate her attention.  This caterpillar was no exception.

Annual Summer Camp

Camping for Casey's birthday has become one of the kids most looked forward to traditions.  Emigration canyon campground better watch out.  The Freeze's are in da house.  Campsite #18....it's a keeper!

Who would've thought I'd have a pepsi with Britney!  Cheers girl!  We attempted pizza sandwiches. DO NOT put them directly in the fire.  G R O S S.  French toast one morning was a hit though.
We were just in time to see some really pretty wild flowers!  Rylee even picked me a couple of her favorites.
Lexi & MaKayla are the cutest little partners in crime.  Their matching cowgirls boots couldn't have been cuter!
We wandered down to the group campsite area and the boys did a smidge of gold panning. The water was FREEZING!  All of the kids enjoyed exploring.  I was in mom mode crossing my fingers that no one biffed it on a slippery rock and cut their head open.
I didn't even think about it - but we should've gotten a group picture!  Shelby's family joined us this year and it was a lot of fun.  Treats, games, little walks, and chilling around the campfire.
The gold fever Freeze gang went off searching for some shiny one afternoon.
Rylee, Taylor & Kaden were in Smore heaven.  They are such a freaking mess, but so dang tasty!  The smores....not the kids.
I'm pretty sure that Luke was having the time of his life.  He loves fire.  He loves food.  He slept like an angel.  And peed outside several times.
Shayden, Tyson & Caleb found a fort.  They got it all cleaned up and put their chairs inside.  They were far enough away that they had their own space, yet close enough if their widdling skills took a turn for the worse, we could  save the day.
We left a day earlier than we had anticipated.  The horse flies were being total jerks.  We still had a great time though and can't wait to go next year!
