Semi-Successful Coupon Shopping Trip

This will bore some - interest others...but I want to break it down.

...less 2.50 for promotion - 4.95 (only 99 cents/box!)
10 Fiber One Granola Bars (1.99) - 19.90...5.00 in coupons - 14.90
...less 5.00 for promotion - 9.90 (only 99 cents/box!)
2 Skintimate Shave gel (2.00) - 4.00
...less 1.00 for promotion - 3.00 (not that good of a deal)
3 Tyson Chicken Nuggets (4.99) - 14.97...3.00 in coupons - 11.97
...less 1.50 - 10.47 (only 3.49/bag)
5 Gillette Body Wash (3.49) - 17.45...10.00 in coupons - 7.45
5 Colgate Toothbrushes (.99) - 4.95...3.75 in coupons - 1.20
3 Olay Ribbons body wash (3.49) - 10.47...3.00 in coupons - 7.47 (another not a good deal..dang!)
.20 credit for using my own bags :)

Coupon Savings = 38.25
Fresh Value Savings = 42.73
Total Savings 80.98 - that's 57%

Good job! I need to start using more coupons again, I've kind of been a slacker...or maybe there just haven't been fabulous deals? Who knows! :) Yeah for PYP though!! :)

I'm so proud of you. I'm actually not shopping this sale - shocking, I know! But I'm really not. There are a few things that I would love to pick up (like the .50 paper napkins would be nice) but I'm forcing myself NOT to do it. I heard that Smith's is doing their case lot sale starting April 1st, so start saving for it!
