I'm a quitter

Since starting my 'mini day care'. My time for anything extra has completely disappeared. I feel completely drained by the end of the day. BUT - I'm not quitting it....at least not yet. Casey's mom was so nice & bought us a 50 lb bag of potatoes. (That is not a typo. It really says 50 lbs) So, I canned some potatoes today (talk about a process!!) & I could kill over. My back & feet are killing me. What sucks the most, is it took most of the day & I only got 12 quarts! But - that is better than zero quarts. I'm hoping to freeze some potatoes as well, but I am saving that for another day!

I did have to 'quit' my church calling. I feel like such a quitter!! I play the piano for Relief Society & just had to throw the towel in. Casey works 1-2 Sundays per month & taking the twins & Caleb without his help is just way to hard! I know that all of the ladies at church love & adore the twins, but I hate thinking that some may feel obligated to help & I hate that winter is creeping up on us & EVERYONE will have some sort of cold. I have been so blessed with healthy, darling twins that I would be so sad if the ended up with RSV. Hopefully we can still get to church 1-2 times/month because I know that Caleb really enjoys it & it is good for him. Casey & I usually tend to need the refresher as well.

I have a hard time in my ward for some reason. I just don't feel like we 'fit'. In Relief Society I am the youngest woman that attends because all of the 'younger' women are all in Primary or Young Women's, so that makes it hard to meet new people. My visiting teachers are both around my age & I really like them so that is nice - but our schedules never seem to work out that they can visit very often.

Good luck with the church thing! I don't think I'll be going after the fetus is born for a while either. The children easily out number the adults 4 to 1 and it's not worth the scare of baby sickenss. We'll start our own church.

Oh my sweet Brittni!! You speak my language far too well!! You can do this! Going to church at all is better than never going! It's fine to go when you can my doll!! I feel your pain on the Relief Society nonsense. I am the youngest in my ward by 10 years at least! I too love my visiting teachers, but they have only ever come twice. If you would just move by me like we always dream about.... sigh.... You are not a quitter! You can do it! You are amazing!! Breathe in... Breathe out... I Love baby C & your cute lightttt & darrrrrrk pink twins!! =) I hope this is cheesy enough & lovey enough for you!! Play date needed! See you soon Mary Kay!! =)
