On Thursday Angela & I went to the Body Worlds exhibit in Salt Lake. I've wanted to go since I saw the commercials back in like September - so with some moo-lah that I got for Christmas I decided I wanted to go. THE LINE WAS A FREAKING JOKE! I bought the tickets online & I figured it would be like a general admission type thing, but it was by time. So I thought, "Sweet! probably no wait." Boy was I wrong. We were in line for over 2 hours AND I had Caleb with me. He was so good in line...and the second we got into the museum, he started screaming and whining & on & on & it's super quiet in there because everyone has their little audio thing up to their ears...so I had to bust on out of there while Ang looked & then I went back in and took a gander.
It was really neat. I would recommend it - just don't take your 1 year old. The blood vessels I thought were freaking weird, our nerves - THERE ARE TONS. The ding-a-lings were sick...they could have cut them off and the ta ta's were gross too. Big ol' blobs of cellulite. Sick. They had brain slices that were interesting, lungs, some animals... I can't believe how freaking big our digestive track is. Why am I fat? There isn't much room in there!! Angela had a neck/back ache and took a muscle relaxer - so you can imagine how much fun she was being! She slept the whole way home while I gave myself a migraine driving in a freaking blizzard.
This is A HOLE.
He lives in the box under the library where you park & takes your money.
I handed him my ticket stub with a small smile - just being courteous.
He runs the ticket. Angela says to me "Is he going to say anything?"
I'm getting my wallet out and NICELY ask "How much was it?"
He reaches his arm out the window and smacks it where it says $6.25...mind you this isn't super close to the guy so he really had to reach...and not the brightest/biggest display by any means...and WE'VE NEVER BEEN THERE.
I said "I didn't know that was there"
He said "You just have to know how to read"
Angela yells "Well...WE'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE"
He takes my money and raises the gate as Angela yells "Don't work too hard!"
He was freaking rude. The above doesn't do it justice. I'm thinking about calling and complaining about the hermits they keep in the basement.
