Some pics

The past few days this has been Caleb's new trick.
He'll be playing in his room & then I notice it's really quiet...
but he's just climbed into his baby bouncer.
Ahhh...the good ol' days.Caleb got a groovy hat from his Great Grandma Anderson today.
I think he likes it!
I went to Promontory with my dad this morning to watch him feed cows & check for any new calfs. I enjoyed myself. I'm glad that nothing was terribly wrong with anything because those times going out aren't the most fun. The snow was B E A utiful. The sun was so bright and the snow looked like it was covered in glitter. And when you looked really close, it looked like crystals. It was really pretty. My dad had to get out the snomobile to go check a cow out yonder and he is like Evil Knievel on that thing! It's entertaining.

Just posting to post...

What's new?? Nothing.

On Friday night Casey & I went to the Ogden temple with Brad & Mona (Casey's parents). It was nice to go & get refreshed on things. We left Brigham at 5 and didn't get home until 9:15 & we didn't even do dinner! It took 10 minutes to find a parking space & that was because we stalked some guy to his car...and then we waited for our session for long time. The Logan temple was closed for cleaning so they were extra busy. We need to check that for next time! I wonder if week nights are less busy.

Casey & I had a 'date' at the gym last night. I let him be my trainer and I can barely lift Caleb today my chest & arms are so stinking sore. I don't know how I'm going to wash & dry my hair today. It will be a challenge.

What does it mean when your baby has a terrible fever all night long - but is fine in the morning? Does that mean he's getting sick? Could it be from his immunizations that he got a week ago? He had the hardest time sleeping in his crib last night...so he got to sleep in our bed. He loves our cold sheets. He tosses & turns and moves his face all over like he's in heaven. He slept good once he nuzzled right next to me so that I couldn't move.

Aaaaaargh Matey

So - at the gym there is a pirate. He dresses down for his workout but keeps the red bandanna. When he's doing any type of weight lifting he lets out a hearty "aaaaaaaarrrgghh" I sure hope he doesn't tear his groin muscle. Owie. Today he was on the treadmill and probably the steepest incline possible while his soda from Wendy's sat in the drink holder. Here's your sign.

Angela, Caleb & I had school lunch with Blake & Griffen today. Ummmm.....ewww. School lunch has went downhill!! The hamburger was like rubber....cold rubber. The roll was freaking WHEAT (when did that happen)...and I only went because I was told they were having Turkey gravy. If it even came close to the old days of North Park Owl hamburger gravy...I was in. It wasn't even comparable. I'm NOT looking forward to going to lunch with Caleb when he goes to school. What will they have then? A freaking wheat grass shake!? They did have fresh fruit...apples, bananas, kiwi's, oranges, applesauce, grapes....that was good.

After lunch we went to Ogden. Angela has some driving issues. Just my opinion...but in my eyes...holy scary. I even said a prayer on the way home. We were at Sam's club and an aisle that she needed to go down was closed because they had the forklift out stocking it or something. Holy freak out! She said "AISLE CLOSED???? But I need to go down there!!" I lightly patted her arm "We can probably come back after we go pick up a few other things" She snapped her head to look at me "You talk to me like you are talking to some crazy mental person" I said "Sometimes I feel like I am"

He may not be walking or talking yet...

...but check out this trick!
I have no idea how he got in there without going head first & crying his face out. He played for a good 20 minutes and then couldn't figure out how to get back out and started freaking. Now I know where to put him when I need to take a shower!
We went to Logan today to get Caleb's pictures done at JC Penny...never again. They all sucked. The girl took probably 20 or so pictures and he wasn't smiling in a single one. She took some of him crying...making a dumb face....just sitting there....nothing that I liked at all. I felt bad telling the girl that I didn't like a single one, but I didn't. Kiddie Kandids is where it's at. It sucks that they are so much more expensive...but it's one thing that I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe JC Penny will be better when he's older and can just sit and smile and not be all over the place...we might give them another try in a couple of years.

Body Worlds

On Thursday Angela & I went to the Body Worlds exhibit in Salt Lake. I've wanted to go since I saw the commercials back in like September - so with some moo-lah that I got for Christmas I decided I wanted to go. THE LINE WAS A FREAKING JOKE! I bought the tickets online & I figured it would be like a general admission type thing, but it was by time. So I thought, "Sweet! probably no wait." Boy was I wrong. We were in line for over 2 hours AND I had Caleb with me. He was so good in line...and the second we got into the museum, he started screaming and whining & on & on & it's super quiet in there because everyone has their little audio thing up to their ears...so I had to bust on out of there while Ang looked & then I went back in and took a gander.

It was really neat. I would recommend it - just don't take your 1 year old. The blood vessels I thought were freaking weird, our nerves - THERE ARE TONS. The ding-a-lings were sick...they could have cut them off and the ta ta's were gross too. Big ol' blobs of cellulite. Sick. They had brain slices that were interesting, lungs, some animals... I can't believe how freaking big our digestive track is. Why am I fat? There isn't much room in there!! Angela had a neck/back ache and took a muscle relaxer - so you can imagine how much fun she was being! She slept the whole way home while I gave myself a migraine driving in a freaking blizzard.

This is A HOLE.

He lives in the box under the library where you park & takes your money.

I handed him my ticket stub with a small smile - just being courteous.

He runs the ticket. Angela says to me "Is he going to say anything?"
I'm getting my wallet out and NICELY ask "How much was it?"
He reaches his arm out the window and smacks it where it says $6.25...mind you this isn't super close to the guy so he really had to reach...and not the brightest/biggest display by any means...and WE'VE NEVER BEEN THERE.
I said "I didn't know that was there"
He said "You just have to know how to read"
Angela yells "Well...WE'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE"
He takes my money and raises the gate as Angela yells "Don't work too hard!"

He was freaking rude. The above doesn't do it justice. I'm thinking about calling and complaining about the hermits they keep in the basement.

Anderson Fam Christmas

On Sunday, December 28th, my side of the family got together for our Christmas fun since Christmas day weather was so terrible! We ate yummy quesadillas (is that spelled right??) and rice, opened presents, played pictionary, & then played Apples to Apples. It was a good time! My animal drawing skills are probably the worst ever...a unicorn is hard to draw in one minute. I hate how it looks just like what it should in your head and then your pen touches the drawing board & it's all down hill from there.

Caleb got a cool pop up toy. It's more work for me though because I have to chase the balls that pop out & keep them going!
Angela & Ashley & I all got a magic pot. It's a mini crock pot type thing, but makes things so much better, juicier, tastier...hence the nickname...the magic pot. My mom was trying to get a picture of me & Angela & said "Angela, I keep getting a glare off of your box!" For some reason....we freaking cracked up.

My mom gave Angela a planner by Ann Taintor.
It cracked BOTH of them up.
Here are some examples of what they are laughing at.
