I'm SO happy that the fair is only once a year. I can't imagine my pant size if it was more often. Here is a pic of my dad & Angela chowing down their Chinese Cuisine.
My brothers had show steers in the fair this year & they both did a good job showing them. Not the best year ribbon wise - but you can't win them all.Angela, my mom & I had a pathetic yard sale this past weekend. It reminded me of one of those yard sales where you slowly drive by...and then just keep on going. We mostly had knick knacks we didn't want any more & a bunch of clothes. We made OK money....Angela ended up with around $100, my mom around $40 and I made around $90. I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the hassle or not. People are so freaking cheap too! My mom had 3 cute jumper dresses...2 were marked for $2 and one was marked $3 and the lady wanted them for less!! One of the dresses even still had the tags on it! I told her no & she paid anyway. That's only 1 of the SEVERAL stories I could tell...I won't bore ya.
Once again, I'm starting Weight Watchers at home. This is like my 6th time starting it. Casey & I want to see how much we can lose by Christmas. Wish us the best of luck!!! (That means Peach Days food will have to be a major flex point weekend....LOVE carnie corn dogs!!)

Aren't yard sales the best? I about die at what people offer for things, too. You'll have something marked at $3-$4 and they'll ask "would you take .25 for this?" Ummm... no. So then they'll pay the price you were asking anyway. Yard sales ALREADY have good prices, so why bargain with them? And if I wanted .25 for the item I probably would have marked it that! People kill me!
Our sale wasn't that bad. People should be happy we want to sell them our crap!:) And what's up with my chin in that pic?
Oh, that made me hungry! :) I love yard sales! I haven't been to any in a while though - the ones in Ogden neighborhoods usually look kind of scary!
