Happy Birthday Littles!

Look at who had a birthday!!  Both of these cuties are crawling everywhere.  We are slowly working our way to most table foods.  They are so good for nap time and bed time.  I just put them in their cribs and the lay down, roll over & fall asleep.  A blessing indeed!
Lukie Pookie...Lukester Pookster - those are the names that he gets called the most.  He is such a handsome boy!  He has the cutest smile & laugh.  He LOVES when he is getting attention.  He HATES cold food - we have to wait until it's about room temp before we feed him or he just spits it right out.  He is a very fast crawler & loves to help me unload the dishwasher.  He loves to explore the outdoors.  He says "mama" all the time when he wants something.  Casey claims that he doesn't whine much unless I'm around.  I've got an adorable little mama's boy.  This little guy already has 8 teeth!!  That is a ton!

Head Circ. - 47.6 - 80 percentile
This little sweetheart has the nicknames of Little Lexi, Lexi Loo and Rylee calls her 'Ol' Lexi' quite often.  She is a serious little girl with some spunkiness here and there.  She loves to cuddle.  She loves to still suck her little thumb.  She is a pro at waving and giving kisses.  I'm glad that she likes closed mouth kisses and not the usual open mouth messes that babies tend to give.  She likes to be outside but does NOT like to leave her blanket.  I don't think that she likes the grass.  She is so tiny!  I still feel like I'm going to break her little body when I pick her up.  This beautiful girl only has 4 teeth.

Their little family birthday party was fun.  They were cute.  Casey & I got them a walker that the 3 older kids fought over for 2 freaking days.  My mom made them some comfortable and darling blankets, Casey's parents gave them some toys & some clothes, and my siblings gave them a cute alligator ball toy.  Lucky, lucky kids!!
They were pretty adorable investigating their cupcakes.  Luke kept grabbing the fondant owls and shoving the whole thing in his mouth.  Lexi was more interested in squishing it all between her fingers than she was eating it.

August Picture OVERLOAD

One day we went to a park over in Logan.  I love finding new parks that are the right size for my kids.  I also LOVE finding parks where there aren't any people.  If a park looks crowded - we find another one.  If to many people come to the park while we're playing - we leave.  I think this stay at home mom thing has me becoming a MAJOR people hater.
These two cuties are out of the tub bucket and onto adventures in bathing.
Luke has to see what Shadow is doing every morning.  Shadow is such a good kitty and plays with him for a bit.
I babysat McKenna one morning.  These three together may cause some major trouble.  The slid down the stairs in unison probably 50 times.  The cracked up every single time.
Caleb took swimming lessons at the Brigham City pool this year.  He really enjoyed the days that he got to "walk the plank".  He cracks me up.
Malissa and Shelby had their darling baby girl, MaKayla.  We had a baby shower for her at the beginning of the month.  Mona made the cutest and funniest fruit tray I had ever seen!!
I love Luke's teeth.  I love Luke's cleavage.  I love Luke!
I still look at these cuties and think, "How did this double thing happen again?"
They have started to wrestle.  It doesn't always end well.  They fight over toys.  Lexi LOVES to put her fingers in Luke's eyes while he is enjoying a bottle.  It's pretty rude!  She's a lot smaller, but she's going to let him know who the boss is.
They both started getting onto their knees and pulling themselves up to standing position.  I am going to miss little babies!!
Taylor got sick for a couple of days.  It was strange.  She had a fever and complained of a stomach ache.  Then all of the sudden, she was better.
One of my little artist's favorite things to draw is treasure maps.  He does a great job at it!  His little mind is quite creative.
Sweet sleeping babies.  I slept on the floor once a couple of weeks ago and my back was freaking sore for a day.  Kids are amazing.

I love when these two interact.  They will crack each other up once in a while and it is adorable.

July!

Pinterest keeps me busy.  Sometimes I love it, sometimes it just makes me feel like I don't do enough.  But seriously...no one is dead, everyone gets 3 meals a day, AND I even bathe them on occasion.  I went to the dollar store one day & bought shaving cream & tablecloths.  Taylor & Caleb had a blast - Rylee was NOT a fan.  She opted to fill up the pool instead.
Caleb got a summer haircut.  I was not a member of this craziness.  Casey wanted to do it, Caleb wanted it done. I didn't fight it.  Hair grows back...it's a battle I'll try to not have.  Caleb did love it, and when it was done it didn't look that bad!  Cute, skinny kid!!
Taylor & Rylee love to ride bikes, trikes, scooters...they are little dare devils!!
My cute babies.  They usually have to have whatever the other one has.
I've been trying to sell this awesome baby carrier.  No one seems to want it.  I bet they would if I said the baby was included.  But NOPE!  This cute thing is all mine.
Caleb is seriously the best helper I could ask for!
Kids drivng you crazy?  I've got a solution for you. Stickers!
These ladies shut the door to the bathroom one day.  I thought that they were just washing their hands.  Little mischievous misses.
If you can't find Lexi - look behind the couch. She loves it back there.
Watching Bubble Guppies.  They love it a million times more than Baby Einstein.
Caleb is always telling me that Lexi looks like an owl because of her big round eyes.  After her first little pig tails he said, "Now she looks like a great horned owl!"

Tony's Grove

Casey took some time off of work for Labor Day. I had to work quite a bit & can peaches, but we managed to squeeze in a family hike around Tony's Grove.  It was the day after Labor Day around 5:00 when we got there and there was only 2 other cars.  Talk about PERFECTION!

We thought that Caleb would get a kick out of the little cave at Rick's Springs.  We stopped & told him we were going to check out a cave and he said, "Are there any bears?"  How cute.  We all started to get out & noticed that Luke had gotten sick in the Canyon and vomited.  G R O S S.  Of course - I think it was the first time that I went somewhere without packing extra clothes for the babies.  Lesson learned.  Casey had to wash out everything in the springs.  Don't drink the water.
Lexi's squinty smiles are so cute.  Look at those cheeks!!

I love this picture.  I think I take too many pictures.  Oh well.  I don't plan on stopping!
Can you say cutest selfie in the history of selfies???  Look at that little boy!!!
The only thing that could make this picture perfect is having Lexi in it!!  She was strapped to Casey's back though.

Caleb thought this bumblebee was pretty neat.  We also saw a lamb.  Random??  We asked Taylor what her favorite part of the hike was and she said, "Oh...just the cows and the chickens and the roosters."  What??  Were we on the same hike girl?

Caleb thought he was pretty awesome taking a whole stack of pringles and taking a bite.  He was cold & didn't have his jacket so he put on Rylee's.  He was cracking himself up.
The most adorable thing happened on the way home.  Caleb took a book out of his backpack & read it to his sisters.  Cherish the moment indeed.

June!

This boy.  This cat.  So cute!!
Luke loves his puppy from Grammy.  He will suck on the little guys ear when he is falling asleep.
One afternoon we went to Logan.  We stopped at Little Ceasers for some PIZZA PIZZA and then headed to first dam to feed the ducks.  EVERYONE had the same idea - so the ducks weren't hungry at all!  We will have to go another day.
Lukie loves to eat!!  You strap him into the high chair & he gets pretty excited.
These girls.  Their relationship.
How would it be to be born with your best friend?  I hope they always love each other!
Watching the mobile one night.  Well - Lexi was trying to watch.  Luke obviously wanted to play instead!
No one puts baby in the corner.  Just kidding.  I did one day.
A foot massager can entertain little ones for quite a while!  A wise investment.
My Grandma and Grandpa Hunsaker celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.  That is a long freaking time!!!!  They are amazing people.
We went on the Logan River trail one day.  I LOVED that the sidewalk they have is large enough for the double stroller AND we weren't in anyone's way!!  It was a beautiful walk.

School Starts!

My little Caleb Bo Baleb is a 1st grader!  I can't believe it.  I am so nervous for him.  School lunch can be so intimidating....going to school ALL DAY can seem so long sometimes.  I was explaining to him that he would eat lunch there and he started to cry.  He said, "But mom!  I am going to miss you so much!"  Seriously - does it get any sweeter than that?  Makes me feel like I am doing something right.
CALEB'S FIRST GRADE FAVORITES
TV Show: Teen Titans GO!
Movie:  Transformers
Song: Am I Wrong - Nico and Vinz
Color: All of the boy colors
Food: Cheese sandwiches
Drink: 7-11 Sluprees
Activity: Swimming at the North Ogden Pool
Future Occupation:  Cop
Weight:  37.5 pounds...
that is 2-3 more pounds than his 3 year old sisters!

Caleb will be starting at a new shool this year.  Promontory School of Expeditionary Learning.  It is in Perry.  There isn't a bus that takes him, so Casey or I will have to take him & pick him up every day.  Hopefully I can find a car pool!  I am hoping that we are making the right decision by switching Caleb to this school.  They have to wear a uniform....there are only 25 kids per class....they believe in a hands on learning experience....each family must volunteer 30 hours per school year.
