Trick or Treat!

Be sure to check out all 3 new postings!!
Caleb was the cutest freaking vampire I had ever seen! If you asked him what a vampire said - he would say (with a raspy voice) "Happy Halloween!" When we told him to say "Trick or Treat" he'd say "Smell my feet. Give me something to eat"
As you can see - he's stopped 'Shutting his eyes' in pictures. It was a fun phase - but now we're on to the 'BIG CHEESE' phase.

Trick or Treating is a lot of running around! We started at Angela's....then went to my Grandma's house...then to Casey's parents house...then to Shelby's apartment...then to my parent's house...and then to The Jenkins house! Next year we might just have to make one stop. Having 3 in tow will be freaking exhausting I'm afraid!

I....was....um....checking the weather....ya...to see if it really was colder than a witch's t** or not!
Blake - The Best Ninja EVER!
Caleb - The Cutest Vampire EVER!

Caleb's favorite Halloween treat was a cute plastic kitten filled with kitten candies from Angela & Ben. He didn't put it down all night!

There was a stupid boy with a chainsaw at the Jenkins house - & he only started it up twice while we were there - but it scared the crap out of Caleb! This is the first time it was fired up...right before the tears started. Poor thing. He's okay though.

Pumpkin Carving!

I hosted the Anderson pumpkin carving party this year. It's a mess - but a good time none the less. (I'm a poet!) I'll let the plethora of pictures tell about the evening.

Caleb! LOOK OUT! There's a monkey on your head! That's seems to be where his monkey is when he sleeps lately. Note the darling pillowcase that his Grammy Kim made him. Caleb loves it & we talk about what's on it almost every night.
My darling/delicious funfetti cupcakes! They were good!
TAG TEAM back again - check & direct now let's begin. Party on party people let me hear some noise....sorry...sorry...BUT - they were on a pumpkin carving team for part of the evening. I can find a song for almost everything anyone says.
Me & some mentally unstable guy I felt bad for on the streets - so I let him come carve a pumpkin.
Blakie & Griffy
Dylan - gettin er done! What a cheater!
The fam. Minus Ben (who was working) & Caleb who was watching a movie.

Pumpkin Painting!

I was doing myself some extensive brain damage trying to think of a fun Halloween activity that Casey & I could do with Caleb. He has the attention span of a 2 year old (weird, I know) & if it was socially acceptable, I'd make him a T-shirt that read "I'm THE drama queen". So - I was talking to Casey about the dilemma & he suggested painting pumpkins. Good call!

We took a trip to one of the Perry fruit stands to pick out our pumpkins and Caleb definitely needed his DQ t-shirt on. It was terrible. I even started crying! (I'm blaming that on 3 times the hormones currently going through my body)
A few days later - we broke out the acrylic paints & paint brushes & Caleb really had a good time!
Caleb wasn't sure about having any paint on his plate - so we just put a little.
As you can see - he got over the paint phobia. He had every color on his plate. The light blue was his favorite.
Art is something that I totally suck at. Mr. Morley in 6th grade made sure that I was aware of how much that I sucked. WORST GRADE EVER. I'm glad I'm not bitter. BUT - after painting pumpkins with my hubby & 2 year old son - I see that I am not alone. (Mine is the black one)

I heart October

October is always full of activities! I love it! Halloween sugar cookies are a MUST. Angela, Ashley, Caleb, Blake, Griffen & I baked way to many last week. They still aren't all frosted. Oopsie.

The bat cookie shape was Caleb's favorite.

My freaking stomach. It keeps getting in the way of things. Who needs a dish rag! Just call Brittni!

Caleb had a lot more fun than I expected. Hooray!
Blake & Caleb hamming it up
Ahhhh....Gardner's village. It's always a good time. This year Angela & I met Aunt Sandra & cousin Amber at Sandra's house for some wonderful homemade Cafe Rio Salads & then we went to the village! The weather was perfect. What I don't understand about the good ol' village is all of the men that are there! I bet every single one of them wanted to shoot themselves in the foot. I would NEVER ask Casey "Hey babe...want to go to Gardner's village?" Maybe some guys dig it...but I didn't see one without a look of "KILL ME NOW" across his face.

The question you may be asking yourself is...who stinks? Angela - or the witch?
My stupid eyes are half shut. Oh well :)

The joys of pregnancy

I bent over to pick up something today & my G bottoms ripped right down my crack-o-la. Talk about a self esteem booster.

Logan

We've taken a few family outings to the Logan area in the last couple of weeks. I don't really do much - but I do enjoy fabulous fall weather, so I'm soaking it up!

At the Spring Hollow campground. I didn't notice that Caleb was being extra touchy until I uploaded the picture. Caleb loves to feed the ducks at First Dam. He knows where we're headed before we even see the water! What a smarty.
Also at the Spring Hollow campground. On a different day Caleb & I met Casey over in Logan (he was working a construction job there) and had a little picnic at Second Dam.

Caleb LOVED throwing rocks into the water.
Some may call me a 'nature lover', but I liked the reflection of the trees in this picture.
My family has a tradition of taking a picnic every year when the leaves start to change. Casey got a hold of my new camera & now officially knows more of it's features than I do. What a show off.
I thought this picture was cool - courtesy of Casey.
Courtesy of Casey - again.
Here is the family playing some Outburst Jr. Yes...I said Jr. It's hard! "World Wide Wrestling Tag Teams" Okay...someone name 10 of them. I dare ya.
Caleb has a smidgen of a lazy eye in this picture - but it's still pretty cute. He LOVED being in the tree! Thanks Uncle Jordon!
Of course....gotta have a picture with his eyes closed. I love how he still peeks out of the one eye to make sure I'm still taking the picture.
Someone managed to get FILTHY in a short amount of time. It's amazing how dirty a 2 year old can get!
Caleb was pretty sure that the bag of cheetos was brought just for him. Ashley had them sitting in her lap & it took him no time to yoink them away from her.
