One Monday afternoon we traveled to Logan to check out the 2014 Pumpkin Walk. This is our third year going & it is turning into a big freaking deal! Streets were blocked off...they had buses taking people to & from park & rides...we happened to get there early enough that the line wasn't ridiculous. I even saw it on Fox news at work one morning. I was thinking, "Stop telling everyone in the whole state about this little thing!! IT'S MINE!!"
Caleb's favorites were the vampire & the Lego scene. I can't believe I had the privilege to get my photo take with Lucky Day, Dusty Bottoms & Ned Nederlander!!!! Best. Day Ever!
Casey & I took some selfies while we were waiting for the line to move. Rylee found her inner Cinderella (maybe I can teach her how to mop soon!)...(also, can you see her cute little hands??). This year the displays were a lot of fun. Snow white, Frozen, Christmas Vacation, "The shitter was full!" They even had a big display of the Sword in the Stone, Mary Poppins and Charlotte's Web. People are so creative!
Towards the beginning of October on a warm night we had the neighbors over for some pizza & some pumpkin painting. I loved seeing everyone's creativity. They had a fun time!!
So....this relationship is completely normal...right????
Caleb loves this skeleton & has since he was just little. He asks all year long if he can hold him & play with him. I say no because he is fragile & his limbs fall of to easily. I did let him have a moment before I put him away for the year. He was hugging him telling him, "See ya later buddy. Sorry I didn't get to play with you to much this time." Then he wanted to do all of the different poses with him where they were doing the same thing. Adorable and kinda scary. I hope he won't need to see a shrink one day about this.
