"Here he is folks - the leader of the plaque!"

I need to own "Little Shop of Horrors" on DVD.  It is a classic!
Caleb survived his first trip to the dentist!  He was such a good boy.  No fussing - no arguing - very calm, cool & collected Caleb.  He went to a pediatric dentist in Brigham City.  Their office and staff was so nice! The dentist said that Caleb has a teeny tiny cavity that we will wait & see if it starts to bother him.  (When Caleb says something is teeny...he says "That's a weenie little one!")

He picked a little red car out of the prize tray.
I really love when crafts turn out!  My mom, Angela, Ashley & I had an epic fail a couple of weeks ago with some wax paper, some crayons and grated candle wax.  It was a disaster.  BUT - these string art hearts turned out ADORABLE!!!
These love letters are so OLD!  I made them probably 12+ years ago with my mom in Relief Society.  They were painted a dusty rose & cream color - so I gave them a glitter makeover.  I think they turned out very cute!

Snow - Much - Fun!

Here are a few pictures of the kids when we got the first decent snow storm back in December.  The girls weren't sure what to think!  They did think it was AWESOME that I shoveled a path for them.
Caleb embraced the snow & fell straight onto his back to make a snow angel.
Rylee just stood still for the longest time.  I wish I knew what she was thinking!
Taylor didn't love the snow.  She fell when we first got outside & got her hands wet & I think they got cold to fast.  :(  List of things to buy??  Gloves for girls.
A couple of days ago Casey & I took Caleb & Blake sledding at John Adams Park.  Angela watched Taylor & Rylee while we were gone.  She's a trooper - she took them KNOWING Rylee was in undies & not a diaper.  What a woman.

Caleb LOVED sledding.  He is really starting to enjoy more things - but it has to be on HIS terms.  It was even his idea to go down all by himself.  He had the biggest grin on his face.  I am so happy he enjoyed himself
He didnt' even complain that he had to lug the sled back up the hill every time.
There was one part of the hill that had solid ice underneath the snow.  Caleb LOVED sliding down it in just his snow clothes.  It was funny stuff.
Here is Casey & Caleb.  They both have a pretty big grin on their faces.
Here is Casey giving Blake a big push down the hill.
Blake's face in this picture cracks me up.  He hit a pretty big bump & totally bounced out of his sled.  I had a lot of fun & think that the kids did too.
Later that night Casey went on our January date.  It was his turn to plan and we went night sledding in Logan on Aggie Hill.  It was a lot of fun (once I could feel my fingers...it was 0 degrees)  We had the hill all to ourselves - wonder why??  After sledding we went to dinner at Fredrico's.  My favorite. :)

What have we been doing??

I have to say (kind of sarcastically) that I have had a GREAT past 2 weeks filled with......
...potty training.  It's disgusting.  Rylee has been talking about her diaper being dirty for a month or so - so I took the plunge & put training pants on.  Taylor was NOT ready.  After 2 days of trying with her, I just put her back in diapers.  It didn't even phase her when she was wet.  Rylee is doing really good!!  Today has been GREAT with no accidents.  HOORAY!  Aren't they adorable??
 Rylee is such a poser!!
 Total & complete CUTENESS.
They girls LOVE to color!  Caleb never really liked it - so this is all new to me.  I bought them some fat crayons & they are doing really good keeping the crayon scribbles IN the coloring books so far.
Movie time!!!  Their absolute favorite movie is....

They will sit & watch this the whole way through!!

A day in the life of Brittni

Please note that ALL of this did not happen in 1 day ( or I would be in a mental institution)....so the post title should probably read, "A month or so worth of days in the life of Brittni".

I had just got home from Jazzercise & was STARVING.  I wanted to eat something before I showered.  Taylor & Rylee also seem to be hungry whenever I am also.....whether they have just eaten or not.

Whenever we get together with the Freeze clan - McKenna will eventually find a book & bring it to me.  I think my kids get a little bit jealous.  It's funny - whenever I read books Taylor HAS to be right in the middle.  She won't sit on a leg or on the floor.  Smack dab in the center is her spot!

I had to play the piano at the Stake baptisms in December.  One night I was practicing while the kids were playing with toys & I had to step away for a second - this is what I came back to. :)

This is my little Rylee when she had the flu.  She was so sleepy!

This is one day after church.  Taylor was fixing my hair while I was getting Rylee dressed.  They LOVE my hair when it isn't pulled back.

I don't recall taking this picture so it must have been Casey.  Silly girls.  The pajamas they are wearing don't have a snap closure at the top & they are like little strippers when they wear these!!

I can't remember where we came home from, but Caleb was one tired boy.  He didn't even take off his coat!

I'm glad Caleb doesn't look like a crazed killer in this picture.  I would be concerned if he did.  He loved to pretend to be cutting down the Christmas tree.

Rylee was so proud to be walking in her new high heel shoes!
This picture makes me want to laugh & cry at the same time.  Look at Taylor's face.  Look at Rylee's face.  Rylee can be a smidge of a bully & in this instance was trying to take the cart from Taylor.

This was the way the girls helped me put the Christmas ornaments away.

Another CART incident.  They were totally fighting over it this time - actual crying & everything.  I didn't intervene at all & they eventually hugged it out.  HOW FREAKING ADORABLE!

Caleb asked if he could draw on his face.  I said I didn't care.  He was having a blast & said, "Look!  My face is covered in blood."  Come to find out - the last batch of markers that I bought were NOT washable.  Oopsie.  He had a red tint to his face for 3-4 days.

Resolution time!

Last year I actually did really good on my New Year resolustions - so I am going to make a few more for 2013.  Let's cross our fingers that I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.

Let's re visit the resolutions for 2012
-Find joy in every day - I may not have done this every single day - but I did find myslef taking a few more deep breaths than usual and embracing the mess & relaxing a bit more.
-Lose 30 pounds (I make this one EVERY year) THIS IS THE YEAR BABY! -  I actually did it.  30 whole pounds LOST!!  My face was so fat!!

-Go to church at least 2 times each month - Mastered!
-Grow a plethora of green beans & bottle them - Epic fail.  :(
-Bottle Peaches & Carrots (Taylor & Rylee LOVE both) - I managed to bottle a lot of peaches, but no carrots.  I don't have a pressure cooker - so that makes it a bit more difficult.
-Exercise MORE! - Mastered!  I joined Jazzercise in June & I freaking LOVE it.

The list for 2013!
-Lose 30 MORE pounds.  I know I can do this.  Ever since I joined Jazzercise I have been cheating on eating.  My brain says, "It's okay...you exercised today"  Well - since I've been at a stand still with my weight loss, I need to convince my brain that IT IS NOT OKAY.
-Give Caleb more one on one attention.
-Plant Green beans & bottle them.
-Go on a date (with Casey) once a month
-Try one new recipe for dinner once a month
-Save more $
-Find joy in every day (yes...again)
-Stop eating after the kids go to bed.  So far I suck at this resolution.  It's just FINALLY a minute to myslef & I want to EAT something!  I need therapy.

Ho Ho Ho

Oh my goodness!!!  Caleb was so excited that Santa had found us.
Taylor & Rylee were still sleeping so Caleb got to open all of his presents first.  He loved all of his Avenger figurines.
The girls finally woke up and they LOVED their books.  That is all that Santa should have brought for them - books & M&M's.
They each got their own purse that had some lipstick, wallet, phone, keys & some jewelry.
Rylee LOVED making the water boil with their new kitchen set.  They also got a shopping cart that they are supposed to share - but that isn't working out the best!
Taylor loved her stacking toy from her Great Grandma Sorensen.
After we opened up all of the Santa presents we packed up & headed to my parents house because Dylan was calling at 11:00.  We were right on time & it was awesome to see & hear from him.  He kept looking to his left & we asked if he was being watched or what was going on - but it was the ball on his Santa hat that was in his line of vision.  He's like a puppy with his tail.  LOL
Angela entertained the twins for a bit while my mom, dad  & Jordon made crepes & MEAT for breakfast.  YUMMY.
Taylor was so excited that she got a turn on the IPAD.  She's a sneaky little one.
We played a quick game of Headbands before we headed home.  I wasn't very good at this game at all.  My mind goes completely blank & I can't think of what to ask!  My mom was rather good at it.
Later that night Casey's mom & dad & brother Shelby came with MORE presents!  We were all spoiled this year!

Here is my little Caleb with some of his favorite toys.  Dreamlites from Grammy & Papa Don, remote control truck, Avengers & punching bag from Santa, Bumblebee from Grandma & Grandpa, & his tools from Angela.
Merry Christmas!
